Diversity & Inclusion Assistant – US Law Firm – Brand New Role to £32k

Our client, a prestigious US law firm are currently seeking an experienced Diversity & Inclusion Assistant to support their busy DE&I team within the wider HR department.

They are seeking an enthusiastic, confident and organised Assistant who has worked within HR of a law firm and had at least a year’s experience within Diversity & Inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Providing all admin and programme support for the firm’s DE&I initiatives
  • Organising and attending meetings internally and externally including preparing agendas, taking minutes and circulating
  • Organise and workshops for new initiatives and training for staff within the firm
  • Working on a wide variety of research projects, organising newsletters
  • Attend and organise Diversity events – both internally and externally
  • Monitor and prepare reports on diversity statistics and general data

Skills, experience & qualifications

  • Previous legal knowledge/law firm background is preferable
  • Working knowledge of Diversity & Inclusion of at least six months to a year
  • Background within a generic HR environment
  • Team player but also able to work independently
  • Good written English and strong communication skills
  • Good level of IT skills including MS Word and Excel
  • 5 GCSE’s grade (A to C) or 3 A Levels (A to C)
